In June 2018 the U.S. Supreme Court, in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc., concluded that states may charge tax on purchases made from an out-of-state seller, even if the seller does not have a physical presence in the taxing state.

Given the Wayfair decision, California, in a series of legislative acts, has significantly changed the sales and use tax rules for both in-state and out-of-state and businesses.

It’s important that you stay in the loop when it comes to California’s new sales tax rules-and avoid future liability that could cost your company thousands of dollars.

Among The Topics To Be Discussed:
  • Registration requirements
  • District tax obligations
  • Use tax conditions
  • Out of state sales
  • Market place transactions
Who Should Attend?
Company owners, accountants, bookkeepers, and billing professionals who are responsible for their company’s application and collection of California sales and use tax.
